# Sign-in problems

Goloco signs you in through GitHub. Most problems come from blocked cookies, a cancelled or expired request, or the wrong GitHub account. If none of these fixes it, write to support@1849.ai.

## How sign-in works

Goloco has no password of its own. You sign in through GitHub, or through Google where the sign-in page offers it. Your first sign-in creates your Goloco account. Goloco never receives your GitHub or Google password.

## "This browser couldn't keep you signed in"

Your browser is blocking cookies for Goloco. Goloco sets one cookie, to keep you signed in. Allow cookies for app.1849.ai, then sign in again.

## "We couldn't verify this sign-in"

The sign-in did not finish at GitHub or Google. Check that you are signed in there and that you approved Goloco, then press "Try again". If the sign-in page is still waiting, press "Check sign-in status".

## "Sign-in is unavailable right now"

Goloco could not reach its sign-in service. Wait a minute and try again. If it keeps happening, write to [support@1849.ai](mailto:support@1849.ai).

## Signing in from a coding tool

-   "Sign-in was cancelled. Your assistant is not connected." Start the connection again from your tool.
-   "This connection request expired. Start it again from your assistant." The request is only good for a short time. Start it again from your tool.

## The wrong account opened

Goloco opens the account that belongs to the GitHub or Google account you signed in with. If you see the wrong one, sign out from the account menu, sign out of GitHub or Google in the same browser, and sign in again with the account you meant.

## Someone else may be using your account

Open Settings, and under Sessions press "Sign out other sessions". Then secure your GitHub or Google account, and write to [support@1849.ai](mailto:support@1849.ai).
